Neslihan’s background:
‘Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.’ –Benjamin Franklin
I hold a BA in English Literature from Boğaziçi University, Turkey’s leading university. In 2009 I moved to London and furthered my education with the CELTA course and an MA in Contemporary English Literature from Brunel University. For over 15 years I’ve taught English as an Additional Language to children and adults, including phonics and B1 English (citizenship) preparation. As a native Turkish speaker, I also teach Turkish as a foreign language and for exams (GCSEs, A Levels, IB MYP/DP). I currently teach Turkish Literature at an international IB school and Turkish GCSEs at an independent school, and I conduct Turkish GCSE speaking exams and provide predicted grades for Turkish A Level students.
You can see my diplomas and certificates here.
I’m based in North London and offer tailored one-to-one or small-group lessons. If you’d like support for yourself or your child, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
